Pugs versus Perl 6 on Parrot

Hi,

Is it correct that there are two parallel(competing?) lines of
development for Perl6. One on Parrot and the other in Pugs? Or have I
got it all wrong.

I think there are more than two.

One on Parrot and the other in Pugs?

AFAIK development of Pugs has been abandoned.
Rakudo (based on Parrot) is currently the implementation most likely to
become usable some day.
