Hi folks,
first of all I'm using ASP.net 1.1 with C#
I've got an XP professional corporate build machine with SP1
I have been using
MailMessage mailMsg = new MailMessage();
mailMsg.From = from;
mailMsg.To = to;
mailMsg.Cc = cc;
mailMsg.Bcc = bcc;
mailMsg.Subject = subject;
mailMsg.BodyFormat = MailFormat.Text;
mailMsg.Body = body;
mailMsg.Priority = MailPriority.High;
// Smtp configuration
SmtpMail.SmtpServer = "myExchangeServer.co.uk" (obviously
a legitimae entry in my code)
but it falls over when I do
SmtpMail.Send(mailMsg)
the error is "could not access CDO.message object"
I want to test it on my local machine then run on a test server.
How do I find out the value for the SmtpMail.SmtpServer for sending emails
internally in a large organisation, or is the problem something else...
Regards and thanks in advance,
CharlesA
