SessionID via URL

Hi,

i have an application using cookies for storing the SessionID but for
certain reasons I need to pass the SessionID via URL in the same
application.
I have tried passing the SessionID like
http://myserver/(23g5ui345g)/Default.aspx
but the Session is not created as ASP.NET seems to look for the cookie only.

Is there a way to have mixed cookie and cookieless SessionState management
in one application?
