Solution Architect/Technical Specialist (J2EE) - Japan

Responsibilities
1.To team up with the Application Architecture and Business
Development groups to evaluate, recommend, define and implement
solutions, based on client interactions in the Japan region.
2.Assess client requirements from a technological perspective, keeping
in mind existing technology /products / strengths of the company
3.Prepare Functional Specification documents and support in High-level
Design
4.Translate elements of the solution model in detail to accurately
estimate the person-day effort, development & Deployment cost, support
cost, estimate timeline and access the success potential in delivering
the contract.
5.Provide technical inputs to the team and / or prepare technical
presentations for clients encompassing all aspects of company
technology & products
6 Proactively identify and flag all risks and issues that may
potentially come up during the life-cycle of the contract.
Profile profile
1. Ability to Speak, Read and Write Japanese with fluency and
confidence to interact with senior members from Client organizations
2. Have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
3. Experience in Project Management, Process Adherence, Application
development and/or maintenance, of packaged solutions and custom-built
systems.
4. Ability to work and plan effectively with minimal direction in
ambiguous situations, and manage the implementation of the plan.
5. Minimum 7 years of cumulative experience in the Design, Development
and Management of Computer based solutions based on contemporary
technologies
6. Experience in J2EE technologies and web-based applications.
7. Experience / familiarity in configuring / delivering / deploying to
application servers, databases and systems Integration is desirable.
8. Experience / exposure to Mobile related technologies (J2ME,
Symbian, BREW, Etc.) are desirable.
