The first application gives server error

I'm new to asp.net. Started following a book, I created a FirstApplicatio
and when i try to run it on the browser it gives me the following server parse erro

I have not changed anything except for adding a header in the webform1.asp

file in between the form tags. Am I missing anything here

Help please!!!!!!!!!!

It also did not create any files in the bin directory. n
..dll and .pdb files. Wondering why?

open the global.asax.vb (right click global.asax click view code...)... save
it..

do a recompile of the app... and give it a try...
