Dear Group:
In testing web applicaiton with trace enabled, I noticed that the content of
the trace.axd is reset/cleared automatically on every application restart.
Can someone advice if that is the expected behavior of the trace facility?
If the log is not persistent, that would make this feature less useful, I
would think. Is there any facility to get to the application trace
"history"?
Although one Microsoft publication says trace.axd is a "file created in the
application's root directory", I never find such file on my IIS server while
I was looking at trace.axd on a browser. So that statement does not seem
correct, am I right?
