Trouble starting TOMCAT

Hello all,
I've just posted "Trouble stating TOMCAT".
The issue is resolved, I'd downloaded the src .zip, not the binary
..zip .
I'm posting this from Google, time delay and all.
Some of you might have responded already. Thanks for your time.

Although, I must say, its not entirely reassuring to find the download
page for TOMCAT is from cgi:
"http://jakarta.apache.org/site/binindex.cgi" !
(I was expecting a .jsp or some such, cgi has Perl ring to it, doesnt
it?)
