Hi,

I tried to add a project from VISUAL SOURCE SAFE to local folder
c:/inetpub/wwwroot/project name using visual studio.net. But I am
unable to open the project in visual studio.net.

It is throwing an error - "unable to open project. fILE PATH
c:/inetpub/wwwroot/project name doesn't correspond to url
http://localhost/projectname. The 2 names does not map each other HTTP
404 error."

PLease help to solve this error.

Have you set up that folder as a web application in IIS?
