The system is a centralized Cache`ä database that captures the minimum data
elements required and provides for electronic submission of the minimum data
set in order to maintain compliance with the grant requirements.
1. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required
Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ø Excellent systems analysis and programming skills
Ø Ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff
Ø Demonstrated experience with the development of systems using
InterSystems Cache`ä
Ø Demonstrated experience with SQL
Preferred
Ø Demonstrated experience with the development of systems using
InterSystems Cache`ä version 5.05
Ø Demonstrated experience with development of reports using
InterSystems M/PACT and ODBC
Ø Demonstrated experience with VA Fileman
2. Tasks
The Cache`ä Developer will perform the following tasks:
Ø Provide technical support
Ø Provide enhancements to data elements
Ø Develop reports as required
3. Constraints
Ø Is written in InterSystems Cache`ä version 5.05
Ø Ad hoc reports are written in InterSystems M/SQL
Ø Data structures are defined in VA Fileman
