catching events on tooltips

Hi

I want to implement dynamic interactive tooltips in Java. They should
be able to expand/collapse depending on the user choice. Also, if there
are hyperlinks within them, the user should be able to follow the link
to point to another tooltip. For this purpose, I need to be able to
catch events (key event / action event / mouse event) associated with
JToopTip.

Does anyone know of how to go about it? Any suggestions / pointers
would be greatly appreciated.
