Change JTree background color.

Hi group,

I need to change a JTree background color, if possible to transparent.
I tryed to change the background color but the item's background don't
change. How can I do it?

you should extend DefaultTreeCellRenderer and let getBackground() and
getBackgroundNonSelectionColor() return null
