Copying controls from/to placeholder control

Hey

Ive got paginated datalist with some numbered pagination controls at the top
that you use to navigate the list ( 1 | 2 | 3 ... ) etc... These are
linkbuttons added in the code behind to a placeholder control...

This is all cool.

I want the same functionality at the bottom of the list and of course I
could just make another place holder and add some more controls, however is
there a clever/quick way to duplicate the controls of one placeholder and
add them to another?
