Curbing the foul google interface

The current issue of Time has an article on China and Google, and
mentions the conflict with their "Don't be evil" motto. This might
be an excellent time for letters to the editor pointing out that
the Google usenet interface is both evil and destructive, besides
making their technology a laughing stock. If a few such letters
are published Google might actually sit up and take notice.

Read the Time article first, and keep any letters short and
reasonable.

"The power of the Executive to cast a man into prison without
formulating any charge known to the law, and particularly to
deny him the judgement of his peers, is in the highest degree
odious and is the foundation of all totalitarian government
whether Nazi or Communist." -- W. Churchill, Nov 21, 1943

"We also try to limit discussion here to things that are specified
via the standards." -- CBFalconer

"[...] your question has nothing to do with the topic of this news
group. We deal ONLY with portable C, where everything can be related
to the published ISO C standards." -- CBFalconer

"In other words, you are off topic, and should look for a newsgroup
that deals with your system." -- CBFalconer, 9-Sep-2003

"However, American football is also off topic." -- CBFalconer

"Please do not answer off topic questions with something other
than a redirection to an appropriate group. There is (in theory)
nobody here to criticize your answers and to correct possible
errors." -- CBFalconer

Chuck, you're either having a bad day or you've been the
victim of identity theft. Follow-ups to alt.whiners.
