I woul like to put the results of two SQLColumns into one datagrid column
Works fine with databinder.eval in a templatecolumn, but I would like to
avoid that...

How about putting the two columns together from within the sql query,
would that meet your needs?

In your SQL statement, multiple fields can be concatenated together with the
+ symbol and then assigned an alias that can be used as the data source for
your grid column, see SQL Server Books on line for the details. You may want
to include additional spaces or formatting also, for example,
dbo.SpmPeople.LastName + ', ' + dbo.SpmPeople.FirstName AS MemberName
