Design GUI for Web Applications or Web Systems

Hi,

Does anybody know a book about Guidelines for Design GUI for Web
Applications or Web Systems? about how should be the application menu,
where should be the buttons, how to control a modal window in user's
browser? and all these things what applications should have.

Do you know some book, or standard or guideline which could help me?
