dreamweaver mx code editor

My version of dreamweaver is great, but can be very annoying in the code
editor, which i use all the time. sometimes when i cut or copy, it doesnt
cut or copy at all, and when i try and paste by ctrl+v, it pastes as html,
when im trying to edit php

it's endemic with wysinwigs I'm afraid - a text editor as a intermediate
stage works well.

if you settle on one that can be ecouraged to perform syntax high-lighting
then you may find you can dispense with other tools. FWIW: I use
http://textpad.com

If you are working with php why not use a php editor - I use zend and it
sure is fine!
even has its own built in debugger!
