Hi,
I've been looking at a few different event libraries: Prototype.js,
Yahoo! UI, and Dojo.
Of those three it seems that the Yahoo! event library is the best. It
handles the usual browser events and has custom events. The folks at
Yahoo! use plain JavaScript without first needing to include another
script which extends the language.
Dojo's event library is really interesting but just seems too fancy for
my needs with all it's aspect oriented programming and has a lot of
"//FIXME" code. Also Dojo seems like a monster library that is very
interdependent.
Prototype wasn't really in the running for me.
Are there any other event libraries I should check out before
committing to one?
Thanks,
Peter
