Extending application lifespan

Hi all,

I've got an ASP.NET 1.1 app that has fairly heavy application startup time.
It's not used with great frequency right now so there are a number of times
when all sessions have died so the app itself then dies. Other than just
increasing the session timeout, is there a way to keep the application alive
longer or automatically restart it whenever the sessions all die out?
