I don't know what the question and answer mean. "The text in the url/
location bar." That is the address, correct?

Correct, including fragment id.

I did not write that entry. The question being asked to change the text
displayed in the location bar. Changing that text changes the location.

Such attempts would be deceptive, perhaps to load another site's content.

Possibly subject matter for more advanced security entry. I don't have
an idea for a question, but I'm not opposed.

WRT this FAQ entry, I think it ought to be removed.

Yes, I think it should be removed. It is almost like asking "How do
you walk across the room?" and answering "You walk across the room."

Just in case someone feels like mentioning it, I see the subtle
intention of the inclusion of "the text in". I think it is too subtle.

WRT this FAQ entry, I think it ought to be removed.

Perhaps, instead, it should be part of a slightly larger question on
security.
