Field validation

Hi

On my webform I need users to enter info in two fields in the format
dd/mm/yyyy and 99-99-99 respectively. How do I achieve this?

Hi John,

I would recommend using the RegularExpressionValidator control to
validate user input you want formatted a certain way.

If you need assistance with regular expressions, I would recommend the

I was using infragistics datetimeeditor & maskeditor but they require
creation of a virtual directory on the server which my shared server host
does not allow. I am looking for a solution that does not require any
changes to the server configuration. I can create folders on the server but
not much more.
