Non-Programmer Needs Help With Simple Program

Hi Everyone,

Firstly, I'm not a programmer, so feel free to ignore my request for help.

I want to write a simple program for my job to make life a bit easier for myself. Basically I work with copper. I want to make a program in which I put the length of the copper, then the length of the cuts that I'll be making on it, the off-cut remaining length and then the total in case more than one length is used. I've used excel but it's frustrating when more than one cut is being made. I'll include a screenshot of an example I was working on, trying to use mathematical formulas to automate the process but since each length requires different cuts and total of cuts it's not feasible and requires a more in-depth program to automate, at least, I think so.

So from the screenshot, basically what I want the program to do is ask me to enter the length, followed by the cuts which I want it to automatically work out and then also work out the remaining off-cut. Then I also want it to work out the total of length issued, the total of the cuts made, and the total of the off-cuts remaining so it all adds up to the length issued. It would also be great it the program could automatically add the date and have a column for the RF as my copper cuts are job specific and I have to keep track of every single mm used so nothing goes missing.

Even if you just know of a tutorial online that does something similar, that'll help as well, then I can just try adjust it to match what I'm trying to achieve.

I'm not sure if anyone will be willing to help me. Much appreciated even if not.

Thanks a ton!

if you provide this to me in more simple terms im sure i could do it (my discord is called 'issabellauwu'
I'm not sure how to make it simpler.

Basically I want to insert the length of the copper, then insert the length of the cuts I want to make and I want it to automatically work out how much remains.

So say the length is 4 meters, or 4000mm, and my cuts are 280mm x 1, 250mm x 1, and 220mm x 1, then I want it to automatically workout how much remains on the length.

I'm not sure if I've simplified it?

I also need to be able to insert multiple cuts for it to workout. So usually we do 220 x 4 and 250 x 1 - these are the most common cuts. So I want to be able to say 220 and then maybe if it asks me how many cuts and I can say 4 or whatever. Not sure if I'm making sense.
