File Deleting from the web page

I have successfully been able to upload images to a web server using the
ASP.NET Upload control as well I can index the images in a database.
Nevertheless, I need to be able to delete the files off the server from the
web browser at the same time as deleting the index of the images from the
database. Is there a tutorial out there or can someone guid me.
