That is false.

What is unsigned?

Generally means unsigned driver in relation to Win XP. Luigi is right to
be cautious because software with unsigned drivers can really screw up XP
bad enough to make a reinstall necessary. However, in this case where
thousands of people have installed and use the product, on a Mozilla
platform as well, his concern is unfounded.

The list would be long.
But obviously there are other things which I disagreed on.

It is peculiar that one on the one hand agrees on some standards and on the
other hand Firefox hosts unsigned drivers...

Through the Looking Glass!
This is not even _vaguely_ responsive to the demand for proof.

A security risk, either real or perceived, is not the same thing as a
standard.

My Slacking Bob, Luigi, you're having one hell of a night.

My assumption was that there are standards to avoid security risks or to
minimize them, one of these being that
drivers should be signed.

Well, that is certainly not the first time that I have worked during the day
and in the night...

The irony here is your are posting with

X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1409

and you are worried about the security risk with an unsigned extension
of Firefox.

Try it or forger about it.

Meanwhile, what's the matter with using lynx as a...well, as a text
browser? :)

Not really. The irony is that Microsoft Windows hosts such drivers which
are inimical to it. I find it really pathetic that an old driver can
debilitate the current main Windows OS at least as bad as a virus.

Different people often worry about different things.

Opera has already
"Emulate text browser" and
"Accessibility layout"
in user mode

It is possible that he did not want to spend much money.
