fopen() causes an "obvious" time delay in WC ???

Dear all,

When using fopen() in watcom C, I found that it takes some time...
That is, it need more time than that in Turbo C !


Does anyone see this phenomenon before ?

What is it you are fopen()ing? For read or for write or for
read/write? How much longer does it take? (microseconds, seconds,
years, decades, eons, ...) How did you measure this? If it takes
longer than 1 month, your version of Windows is not up to date on
security patches.

Does anyone see this phenomenon before ?
