I am new to asp.net and I would like to know how to turn on GridLayout in a
web page. I am using Visual Studio 2005. Thanks

This can now be managed via the Layout,Position dropdown menu that's
available when viewing a page in design view.
You'll want to select the "Absolute" option.

You may find the "Auto-position Options" dialog box useful too.
