Hi guys....have a problem,hope u can help me out.
I have to implement an 8 by 8 bit multiplier structuaral style and run it on the Spartan3e starter kit.The actual multiplier was not a problem,but now I can't figure out how to actually input 16 bits of data since the damn thing only has 8 switches.I was thinkin of using an RS232 with a USART.It'll make things complicated but it seems to be the only way.
Can anyone tell me a (relatively) simple means of sending 16 data bits to two multiplier registers.
Also I need to display the 16 bits on the lcd.
Any help on these two issues will be greatly appreciated.
