How manually uninstall/reinstall VS2003?

I am having trouble reinstalling VS2003 using the "standard way".

I can't even uninstall VS2003 using the "standard" method.

Any suggestions on how I can completely remove VS2003 so I can reinstall it?

download this usefull tool from Microsoft:

Windows Installer CleanUp Utility

it will remove all trace in registry and then you would be safe to remove
the folder manually
