I have a problem in printing a pdf or xls or doc file from a java
program

can anyone help me in this regard i need it very urgently

The simplest approach will be to pass it to a nearby
web-browser and print it from there. Check:

http://geosoft.no/software/browser/Browser.java.html

Call by:

Browser.openUrl (new File ("/some/where/file.pdf"));

Within a Microsoft regime the xls and doc files will open
correctly as well.
