http post very slow

i'm tring to send post data using
set objSrvHTTP = Server.CreateObject ("WinHTTP.WinHTTPRequest.5.1")
....
objSrvHTTP.send xmlstring

but the transfer rate is very low(4 min per MB on LAN)..
some ideas?

(with MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP.4.0 is equal)

How are you determining that the post operation is the slow part?
Are you sure that the delay is not on the receiving end?

thanks for the answer but i think that the problem is a firewall
rule...
