IE not displaying aspx but firefox is?

IE asks a user to download a file
firefox renders it fine.

any ideas?

They must have been playing a prank based on
filtering for IE-specific user agents.

It's working fine now.

The application works fine in IE and Maxthon,
as well as on Firofox and Opera.

actually i figured it out, vs.net was setting the Content-Type to
application/xhtml+xml? While correct, it makes IE (before 7) barf. Used
text/html instead and that fixed it. I was just getting ready to come
back here and say nevermind!

What type of file were you creating ?
