Hello,
I am trying to find a good way how to program batch processing within
Java. In concrete I have database queries which operates on big
database tables, working on the result and write it back to the
database (oracle).
Is there any kind of design pattern which is commonly used for it in
order to receive good performance?
I was thinking about using Quartz as Job Scheduler and Hibernate for
the DB. What do you think about it?
As far as I know there is no such statement like "batch-update" as it
is in pure JDBC, correct?
What is your opinion about the best way/performance?
Thanks a lot!
