Location-Topeka, Ks
Java Designer/Developer-
Leading company is replacing their current mainframe billing/financial
application with IMS databases and ADF screen development with a
browser based JAVA application utilizing z/OS DB2 databases. They
have completed the database model and are currently in the design
phase. They can benefit from an individual that has knowledge in the
most current technologies mentioned above to expedite the learning
curve of their JAVA developers.
Has expertise and is a skilled architectural designer and developer
with the technical skill set to include:
Object Oriented Design and Development methodologies, Java Programming
Language,
JAVA Server Faces (JSF) and Java Server Pages (JSP), JAVA Persistence
Architecture (JPA), Hibernate, EJB 3.0, JDBC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS,
XML, J-Unit Testing, Hibernate, ClearCase, RSA, RAD 7.5, AJAX
Framework and Relational Database Systems and SQL, z/OS DB2
preferred. Has experience and ability to architect and recommend the
design of a large system. Accounting background or billing system
experience would be a plus. Can write specs, gets along well with
people and has good communication skills. Bachelor’s Degree with
emphasis in Computer Science preferred. Masters Degree would be a
plus.
