Hello
I have had a problem with Java since installing a version of Visual
Studio, I noticed in the install procedure that it "Updated" my java
files, from then on no Java applets have been able to load, just the
usual white box with a red cross through it and the message "Done". I
have already tried:
1. Checking the box for "use java for applet...." in Internet
Options/Advanced.
2. Removing Java Runtime SEv1.4.2_01 and downloading from new.
3. Removing Visual Studio Enterprise Edition and downloading new Java
files.
4. Removing Service Pack 1a and downloading new Java files.
5. In the Java console I have, checked the option "Use java plug-in as
default" in the advanced tab, checked the "microsoft Internet
Explorer" option in the browser tab, checked the "use browser
Settings" in the Proxie tab.
None of this has had any effect, I would be grateful if anybody has a
clue as to what to try next.
thanks
chris
