Javadoc and @beaninfo

Hello everyone,

I was looking through some Sun's Swing source code and noticed the following
tags in some Javadoc comment:

* @beaninfo
* bound: true
* preferred: true

I'm not familiar with those tags. Are they supposed to provide a basic
replacement for the BeanInfo class? Help auto-generate a BeanInfo class,
somehow? Or used by another external tool, maybe?

I would appreciate any links with more info about those.
