JMF and JMFREGISTRY

I am interested in refreshing the capture device list after I plugin a
new camera or remove an existing one.
I want to have this feature from within my application (instead of
asking the user to open JMFRegistry and refresh the capture device
list).
Is there any way to achieve this.? The only solution I can think of
now is to go through the JMFRegistry source code and see how it does
this.
