Multiple CODEBASE for applet

T

Thomas Magma

Hello,

I have a html page that loads an applet. The html is a printable form
generated locally by an application and uses an embedded applet to show some
graphics on the printout. Do to different security settings on different
peoples computers it sometimes has a hard time loading the local .class file
for the graphics. So I was hoping to invoke the process of looking locally
for the .class file and then looking on our internet site for the .class
file in order to minimize the amount of applet loading problems that occur
to our customers. Any idea how I properly do this? How about multiple
CODEBASEs? This is a very hard thing to test given all the different OSs,
browsers, versions of browsers and settings.

Thanks for your thoughts,

Thomas
