Hi,

Is it possible to do the following in html and javascript:

I need a link in a webpage that when I click on it that it does two
things, the first is to play a sound and the second is go to another
page on the same site, one after the other.

It needs to do both, with only one click.

Is it possible? With html and javascript? Or will I need to do it in
another language, perhaps html and perl?

Yes it is possible with JS. Please make sure that your users know your page
is going to make a noise if they click the link! People surfing at work
don't want to get found out and people listening to Brahms don't want to be
disturbed.
