netbeans 4.0 - how to mount classpath directory

Hello,

There is supposed to be a way to mount a directory under Netbeans 4.0
so that it will recognized any classes that are created. Is this
variable the same as setting the CLASSPATH? Can someone *please*
provide a step by step example of how to mount such a directory under
Netbeans 4.0?
I have been reading docs and am sooooooooo tired now ;-(

TIA

I just gave up, and went back to NB 3.6. The new
NB 4.0 is very difficult to understand/use. I will
likely change over to eclipse after they get the
new 5.0 language support finalized and debugged.

Having barely used NB 4 at all, it appears fairly simple. Go to your project
properties, to either "Compiling" or "Running" depending on where you want
to add it, and click the appropriate button for what you want to add.
