Newbie question: Namespace conflict

Hi,

I created a custom control (a wrapper for a DataList) within my project.
I compiled it and added it to my toolbar. When I add it to a page and
build the project, I get many ... is ambiguous in the namespace...
errors. I assume that this is because the reference to my compiled dll
contains the same namespace declarations as the project code. I tried
changing the root namespace in the project, but this didn't seem to
work.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm not sure how to break this
recursion.
