no way to disable header & footer (print) in IE??

hello,

i am developing an intranet application that does some printing, and i
would REALLY like to be able to instruct pages rendered in IE (6) NOT
to display default Header & Footer tags on the hard copies.

i know users can disable them manually per print job, but that really
isnt a very good solution.

is there no way to hook into IE and tell it not to put those ugly tags
in place!??

that like, sucks, 'n stuff.

MS -- people have been asking for this for years. why dont you support
it via your browser's javascript DOM??!
