Hi Jacob,

background tab?
What is that?

If you are refering to Firefox's tabs, that is NOT standardized in any way,
as far as I know.
IE doesn't have that concept (shame, it is very handy).

If you plan on coding for firefox only, try to find an API for their
javascriptimplementation, maybe it is possible, but your solution will not
be compatible with IE and probably a lot more browsers.
