Pager Tag Library and offset

hi,

i'm using the jsptags pager-taglib and i haven't understood this
offset-behavior...
i'd like to set a specific paging index (when eg. resultset is viewed,
start at page 3...) and i'm not able to get that running...

does anyone know, what to set?
