Do you *really* expect us to do your work for you? You must be
kidding, right?

It has neither of these. A ; would make it a function prototype and a {
would make it a function definition..

How big was the file the last time you made a successful compile? If the
answer is "never did" you have written *far* too much code without
compiling. Also, you do not use enough functions. Functions allow you to
clear your mind of excessive details and focus on one relatively small part
of the problem. My guess is you intend to use three functions for this
program. Visualize a novel written with three paragraphs. Does that sound
like a good idea?

Bottom line, write this off as a learning experience and throw it away.
Start over.

Oops. I looked again and now the first error I see is the lack of a ; after
> void setup()
which would make it a function prototype.

Actually, the first error I encountered was "#include
<fstream.h>". A non-existant header. Followed by similar
errors for <process.h>, <conio.h> and <dos.h>.

Well, that's where you and I are different. I try not to send students on a
wild goose chase on things that are not their problem. If there is an
environment that I know of that will accept what they have written, I let it
pass. Learning this stuff is hard enough without their "helpers" being a
smart ass and fighting them tooth and nail every step of the way.

My guess is the guy already has a pretty poor instructor or he wouldn't have
written what he did. I have personally had a lot of bad instructors and I
know the sick feeling that can result from that and I try to extend sympathy
and *useful* help. It is unfortunate the OP asked for help this late in the
game. Neither you or I have read the assignment and it is entirely possible
that completing it precludes the avoidance of the Microsoft oriented headers
you mention. Also, there are schools where the instructor does not get to
choose the compiler or the text book, which could mandate the <fstream.h>.
FWIW, I have taught at such schools.
