profiling in eclipse..

any recommendation on tools/plug-ins for profiling Jboss servlets in
Eclipse/Linux environment ?

is eclipse a best IDE for J2EE development? it is really hard to find
and use even very basic plug-ins (like profiling for e.g) in eclipse.

you can check http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/ - it is Eclipse project
dedicated to testing and performance. Also, I suggest you to take a
look at the JBoss plugins for Eclipse (http://www.jboss.org/tools/
download/index.html) - "A series of Eclipse plug-ins to provide
support for developing, testing and deploying applications based on
JBoss.org projects." and JBoss profiler - http://www.jboss.org/jbossprofiler/downloads/

It is still a daunting task to setup just to profile a Servlet.
