I don't know about "my" context. I was trying to get across to you that he
was vague about this business of the site and that it did _not_ matter for
his question. I have failed to do this properly and I am going out to get

Of course it didn't. I never said or implied that it did.
a 2" by 4" piece of hardwood timber and see if I can pay someone to give
me a good working over. (Like the one of Dirty Harry's quarries who paid
Morgan Freeman (was it?) to knuckle him over)

Even though he did not say website. Where's that piece of timber?

I will help OP figure out that this is a newsgroup and not a site.

Ah. I had an American 1969 Falcon. Until last November, it was the only
Ford product I'd ever owned, and I bought it in 1977 as a thoroughly
trashed beater, for $90. It was going to cost $100, but when I took it
for a drive with the owner (a friend), the radiator sprung a leak and we
agreed at $90 to allow for about three cans of stop-leak. :)

You will never succeed in this. If you followed my advice, you
would see that it is very much a site. I am on it right now
chatting to you. No, its not a chat site and it is not a website.
It is a newsgroup site. Being on it has a complex meaning.

Try to remember when you were last in the doghouse for a serious
criminal offence, Blinkey. Now when your loved ones came to see
you, they chatted to you in person as it were. But it wasn't
quite in person was it now? It was thru the telephone on
different sides of the protective glass. [1] "Chatting in
person", "live", "facing each other" all take on different
meanings. Things can be vague and ok. It is ok to be vague. Relax
completely.

The main point is that there may be no particular misapprehension
on the part of the OP. There may be all sorts of confusion. What,
are you going to do, sort _all_ out for him?

(God, please don't let the OP come back and cause confusion for
me. I will do anything for You)

[1] There are two instances that come to mind. One is where Dr.
Kimble, eliminating a list of suspects, goes to the clink and
faces a prisoner. The other is where the present Governer of
Caifornia, Julius Benedict, fronts up to see his twin brother,
Vincent Benedict in jail. I have clean forgotten if it also via
phone link across the glass in both cases. But I will be watching
out for this detail next time.

You can use white pepper that is ground reasonably fine...
