regarding typedef

Hi all,

I heard that typedef is storage class specifier. If so how can we say
that is storage class specifier.
Can anybody clear me.

The standard is pretty clear about this:

The typedef specifier is called a ``storage-class
specifier'' for syntactic convenience only; it is discussed
in 6.7.7.
