Router [speedtouch585]

I have just fitted a speedtouch router and it is working fine.BUT I now
have no email, nor have I had for 3 days. It is so maddening, I have
tried every avenue to no avail. I need an experts help.
Every time I try to download my emails, up pops the Dial up connection
box and of course blocks my downloads.. I have been told by EXPERTS
that this is caused because windows have not been notified that I am
now using a router so are still popping up the dial up connections. How
do I get rid of it. Can someone please help me, I am at my wits end and
have spent a fortune on 50p a minute phone calls.

Your problem is light years removed from the topic of this newsgroup
which is discussion of ISO standard C. Please post to a networking or
Windows group. You can use the Google Groups's search facility to
easily find several topical groups.
