Hi All,
Is it possible to display a piece of descriptive text in a document
depending on which selection option the
users mouse is hovering over in Internet Explorer. I am aware that NS
has an onMouseOver event
for this kind of use, but IE does not seem to have such a thing. I
would really like to do this in IE.
Basically, my selection options have brief text which I would like to
expand upon giving a fuller
description of a select option in another part of the document. I can
do this using the onChange event
but this would mean a new user might have to try many of the select
options before deciding which one
is right for them. It would look so cool if the descriptive text
appeared as the user hovered their mouse
over these options and then remained displayed when the actually
selected a particular option.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
TIA
Naran.
