I have an ecommerce application (originally written by some one else) done
in C#, SQL2K. The system has been working very well until just a few days
ago.
We sent links to a promotion page to several other sites most of which seem
to work okay, however there are a couple of sites that have used our page
link as the source for a Frame. These fail.
It seems that when entering our application everything works until the first
page change, then the application starts a new Session. All of the session
data from the entry is lost thus breaking the system.
I've only seen this once before and then I just built a work around, however
I don't have the time to do the same here, so we are asking the the Frames
be removed from the remote sites.
I wondering if anyone has seen this before, and hopefully know what the real
cause is and how to fix it in a simple manner.
Thanks.
