shopnav OT?

My copy of IE5 seems to be getting hijacked by: http://search2.shopnav.com

Any idea of why that is? Virus,spyware and searching the HD comes up blank.
I did see a mysterious .dll in a url.

I still check in IE5, so I'd like it to work! Wish Bill Gates never got
interested in computers.

You may not be able to google for it, however, this looks like
you common garden variety spyware and Adaware/Spybot Search & Destroy
can handle this one.

What spyware utility did you use?

Symantec has instructions for removing it:

Spybot Search and Destroy. My Adaware is funky.

Use Mozilla Firebird, and add the Tabbrowser Extension by Hiroshi
Shimoda. You'll be happier, and much, much safer.

At least Mozilla doesn't have security holes large enough to drive a
semi-trailer truck through!!
